/in Studies /by Kcs21blAAAt the beginning of promotional activities, providers any tourist offer must define who they are addressing to, since tourists are a very heterogenous category different in its demographical, socio-economical, psychological and other characteristics. Outer Belgrade municipalities have real, versatile potentials and concrete offers for different kind of tourists, despite numerous limitations and generally underdeveloped tourism. However, it is crucial to define target markets and elements of tourist demand of priority significance for every tourist destination, especially for those which are just emerging on the tourist market. Therefore, it is very important to have a realistic insight into the advantages and disadvantages of the tourist offer and into the offer of competitive destinations. Emerging tourist destinations, like BLO, shouldn’t tend to meet all the elements of demand in all markets, but focus their promotional efforts on those elements of tourist offer whose demands are correspondent to the existing offer, having in mind all the limitations in regards to volume, structure and quality of the existing offer in its territory.
THE ROLE OF MODERN DESIGN IN THE CONTEXT OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
/in Studies /by Kcs21blAAThis paper offers analysis of the role of modern design in the context of professional ethics, so as to better understand the reaches of responsibility which design has in the society and for the society. As a discipline, design can be used positively or negatively depending on whether ethical codes apply or not, both before and during designing. As an active society member, a designer cannot remain indiferent and ethically neutral, because the effects of his/her activity can be fatal. Examples will be given of how designer skills and reaches can be used to realize certain benefits both for the individual and the society as a whole.
POSITIONING OF THE RECEPTION THEORY
/in Studies /by Kcs21blAAThe aim of this paper is theoretical positioning and defining of a reception theory, namely the theory that led to one of the most influential epistemological shifts in the theoretical discourse of the 20th century, from the analysis of art work and the author to the analysis of recipients (readers, viewers, listener), which thus becomes the main category of meaning in a contemporary theoretical discourse.
THE PLACE OF SPACE IN SOUL, OR RE-VISIONING PSYCHOTHREAPEUTIC FANTAZIES OF SPACE AND BODY
/in Studies /by Kcs21blAAFantasy of space plays an important role in therapeutic psychology and covers almost anything occurring inside subjects of psychotherapy – we work on the processes which develop inside a family making it dysfunctional; we work through and clarify the primitive mental states which occur in the unconscious of the analyzand; we disentangle the problems heppeing within the transference-countertransference relation; we help people who find themselves in blind alleys; use analysis in order to aid a client to return projections back into him/herself; we apply body techniques to discover where split up traumas are hiding themselves in the body etc. Concepts so precious to therapists, without which their work in inconceivable – projection, introjection, internalization, withdrawal, wholeness, insight, reflection, embodiment, transference, replacement, substitution, regression, unconscious, subconscious, scape goat, triangulation, contact, phenomenological field, container, growth, real-unreal, subject-object and so forth – are derived from the idea of space or have relied on he idea of space. This work deals with hermeneutics of this dominant fantasy of space, which can then be used to develop an quite different paradigm serving as a phenomenological dwelling to above mentioned processes and contents of our therapeutic work.
THE IMPORTANCE OF ELECTORAL POLITICAL CULTURE OF DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING A MINIMUM LEVEL OF DEMOCRACY
/in New Key to Sociology /by Kcs21blAAIn this paper, we will apply the theoretical framework of the minimal definition of democracy (electoral democracy) to the example of the Republic of Tunisia after the changes that have occurred after The Arab Spring. We wish to illustrate the hypothesis that democratic political culture, which has a permanent character, can play an important role in maintaining the nucleus of democracy – the electoral process. Also, we will try to show that specific (liberal and tolerant) cultural – historical heritage and political practice in Tunisia are important factors for the formation and maintenance of democracy in that country (at the minimum level). Our goal is to try to give a general evaluation of whether Tunisia, a few years after The Arab Spring, can rate as electoral democracy. Indirectly, we will discuss how Islam can be barrier to the democratization of society.
CRITICISM AND SCOPE OF GLOBAL LANGUAGE SYSTEM THEORY
/in New Key to Sociology /by Kcs21blAAIn this paper we have attempted to present the global language system theory of Abram de Swaan. We have offered a critical analysis of the application of rational choice theory to the problem of relationship between different natural languages. The use of rational choice theory and de Swaan’s instrument of the communication value have placed limits on the scope to which his contribution can produce a more complex explanation of the second language learning. De Swaan eclectic (parallel) approach in the considered study does not resolve the problem of a narrow theoretical framework of the global language system (communication value). However, we have offered some possible direction for improvement and better understanding of the global language system within the same theoretical frame.
MASCULINITY AND FATHERHOOD: GENERAL IMAGE OF A MAN’S IDENTITY AS A FATHER
/in New Key to Sociology /by Kcs21blAAThis paper sets up a general framework for sociological study of the identity of fathers. Having in mind that popular discourses as well as professional circles debate more and more often about the crisis of masculinity which also involves questioning and new forms of male parental practices, the issues of fatherhood have grown especially appealing to the sociologist, psychologists, pedagogues, social workers and other professionals interested in family life. In processes that characterize recent modern society, male identity has become a subject of a special section of gender studies – masculinity studies. A father role traditionally implied a family protector and a provider, as well as a link with the outer world in which he represented the interests of his family group and defended his honour and that of all family members. While the modernization processes have downsized the father figure as a family representative in the outer world to the symbolic representation or have equaled him with the mother figure in the same role, the issue of the provider of the family remains very significant. Although equalization of men and women in public domain has gradually led to decreased asymetry in their income and raised contribution of women to the home budget, the role of a man as a provider is changing more slowly both on the identity level and on the level of real world practices.
PRESENTATION OF WARS FOR YUGOSLAV HERITAGE IN THE CONTEMPORARY HISTORY TEXBOOKS
/in New Key to Sociology /by Kcs21blAAAfter the dissolution of SFRY and ensuing wars, the history textbooks in newly formed states were modified. New identities and new visions of some issues had to be fitted into new ideological frameworks. The main purpose of this paper is to determine how different countries, formed after the dissolution of SFRY, represented ensuing wars, how different individual and social actors (presidents of republics, military corps, nations) represented themselves, whether stereotypes of nations and ideologies were exploited, what was the ideological purpose of certain narratives of the SFRY wars, how much importance was attributed to this topic in separate national histories, and what significance representation of Yugoslav wars in historic textbooks could have for the future relations in the Balkans.
