LOCAL DIGITAL LIBRARIES
/in E-Libraries /by Kcs21blAAWe can define local digital libraries or Digital Libraries of Local Heritage as complete and organized historical and biographical information and cultural heritage of a certain geographical region in digital form. These usually derive from the Local History Collections selected materials, which are digitized or born-digital. This paper is investigating the relationship between local cultural heritage, as a whole cultural heritage of particular geographical region and time period, with digitization and digital libraries. Defining local digital libraries and the basic principles of creation and organization of digital collections, we are aiming to more precisely appoint their position towards other digital libraries, archives or repositories, as well towards the projects of mass digitization. The perspectives of local digital libraries usage is presented through discussion of various types of digital libraries of local heritage, and also through analyses of current digitization of local history collections kept in Serbian libraries.

/in Philosophy of Media /by Kcs21blAAWhat would Kierkegaard think of the internet? His critique of the press is surely well-known, as is his attempt to awaken authenticity in his contemporaries through his writing. Which one of these two tendencies would take presedence in his account of the internet? We will challenge Dreyfuss’ thesis that Kierkegaard would have hated the internet, arguing that the internet possesses possibilities of taking on what Dreyfuss calls “risky responsibility and obligations”, at least in as much as it is possible to take them on outside the internet. Finally, we will deploy a critique of that conception of cyber-obligations, which will at the same time be a critique of Kierkegaard’s conception of authenticity

Ostojićeva vešto upravlja tim, često spornim, idejama i stvara kompaktan umetnički izraz.
